Programme overview
Shanghai–Jiangsu region (11–12 May)In cooperation with NBSO Nanjing
Company visits focusing on key battery value-chain players and manufacturing ecosystems. Companies under consideration include SVOLT, CALB, LEAD Intelligent, Shanshan, Putailai and REPT Battero. Where feasible, visits to adjacent sectors such as robotics or electric mobility may be added.
Shenzhen (13–15 May)
In cooperation with NBSO Shenzhen
Participation in the China International Battery Fair (CIBF 2026), the world’s largest battery exhibition.
Planned activities include:
* A NL Pavilion with 9m2 space per company (subject to sufficient interest)
* A dedicated matchmaking event at CIBF
* Participation in the China International Battery Industry Cooperation Summit (CIBICS), including speaking lot at a Netherlands sub-forum
Additional company visits (15–16 May) In cooperation with NBSO Shenzhen and local industry partners, visits are planned to leading battery companies such as EVE Energy, Sunwoda and BYD, subject to availability.
Who should participate
This trade trip is aimed at Dutch companies and organisations active in battery materials, manufacturing equipment, process technologies, systems integration, sustainability solutions, next-generation battery technologies, digitalization and value adding services for the battery industry.This mission is not intended for companies seeking to purchase battery cells, battery packs or energy storage solutions.

Cost
Participation fee:- EUR 650 per participant; EUR 350 for the second participant from the same company.
For company visits max. two person per company. CIBF no limit on participants.
Included:
* 9 m2 company booth in the NL Pavilion at CIBF 2026
* A speaking slot at the dedicated Netherlands sub-forum
* Tailored matchmaking services with relevant Chinese industry partners
* Participation in the collective programme;
* Local transfers to and from programme activities;
* Lunches and dinners that are included in the final programme.
Not included:
* Flights and accommodation costs; The organiser will provide flight recommendations and offer hotel block bookings at a corporate rate.
* All individual expenses, such as lunches and dinners outside the programme.
