On the first day of the Offshore Wind China 2012 conference and exhibition, the Holland pavilion attracted many visitors. Several Dutch companies united by the ‘Holland Home of Wind Energy’ exporters association, showcase Dutch technology solutions for the Offshore Wind industry.
The Chinese wind energy industry developed on a high pace last decade. China is in terms of installed wind capacity (on land) the world’s market leader. In offshore wind a 150MW tidal demonstration project was recently connected to the grid.
Dutch companies present at Offshore Wind China 2012, see opportunities in collaboration with China in the fields of: engineering, development of new concepts, operations and maintenance, aerodynamics, testing, wind turbine performance, rotor blade design, marine cable installation and hydraulic piling.
