On September 12th, prof. Xiang Gao, director of the College of Comparative Law of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) and Jaap Bosman, Marketing Director of Dutch law firm Houthoff Buruma signed a Memorandum of Understanding on international collaboration in academic exchange. Science Attaché of the Netherlands Embassy David Pho attended the signing ceremony.
Under the agreement, Houthoff Buruma will establish HAOBO Scholarship for CUPL students in the College of Comparative Law to support their outstanding academic achievements and global outlook. In addition, both sides agreed to work on academic exchanges, joint seminars and professional activities in the field of comparative law. Houthoff Buruma will also donate legal books and publications to CUPL.
