The Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute, or ASTRI, will be introducing its latest technology projects at the 2012 ASTRI Industry and University Consultation Forum, an event that is held annually to facilitate collaborations and partnerships with industry and academia. The events will take place on September 5th in Hong Kong, and September 19th in Shenzhen. Workshops will cover projects from all 6 research groups, i.e. Communications Technologies, Enterprise & Consumer Electronics, IC Design, Material & Packaging Technologies, Bio-Medical Electronics, and the interdisciplinary Exploratory Research Laboratory. ASTRI was established in 2000 by the Hong Kong SAR government as Hong Kong’s main applied R&D institute. It serves as R&D partner for companies in Hong Kong, mainland China and other parts of the world. Technology developed by ASTRI can be transferred in the form of service contracts, technology licenses or other forms of partnership.

Science & Technology Officer Han Wesseling, based in Guangzhou, will participate in the event. Please check back after September 5th for more updates.
